Having been born into a musical family, Louie’s first serious vocal attempts took place during the early stages of High school in dramas, plays and musicals. Later, he joined a school rock band performing songs to fellow classmates and teachers, (“...there was no question I should sing anything other than rock music...”) During this period, his love for poetry began when studying literature.

After the high school years it was obvious that music had its impact and so Louie began the study of singing. From the early Nineties till the late Nineties, he was making a name around Melbourne in various cover & tribute bands.

Yet, the love was always there for Metal and to be involved in a Metal band; And on a day in October 1998, Crimsonfire was born.
