PAUL YOANNIDIS :: BASS

Paul’s interest for playing the bass guitar began at school when fellow classmates shared the same interest in music and wanted to form a band. He later went on to receive tuition in bass guitar.

After joining a cover band and performing live in pubs across Melbourne, the desire to work with original material grew. Paul began writing music privately and decided to go solo until the right opportunity came.

He went on to search for an original Metal based band, in the local newspaper and came across an add which caught his attention – bass players who were sick of wasting time reading adds, looking for someone who wants to join a serious heavy metal/prog band with multiple influences. From first introductions a sense of humor and interest was shared which ultimately led to the birth of Crimsonfire.
